Subjects to the Swiss. An auditor student at the Academy of fine arts. In 1844 the title of class artist for the project "a School for poor children." In 1851 appointed to the Academy; in the same year the title of academician for the project "Museum for painting and sculpture." In 1857, appointed tutor of primary rules and an architect of the Academy of arts. In 1858, dismissed from the post of architect of the Academy, and next year from the post of lecturer. (Kondakov)
