Biography and information

Daughter Of Nicholas Leontyevich Benois. Attended drawing classes at the Imperial Academy of arts (studied under p. P. Chistyakov). Worked with watercolors, oil; copied paintings of the 19th century In 1874 she married the sculptor Eugene Alexandrovich Lanceray, who was assisted in the work. In 1876, along with her husband visited Paris. Founding member of the First ladies ' art circle (1882). Summer in 1880-1910-ies conducted on the estate of Neskuchnoye of the Kursk province. In 1902-1903 he was in Italy, Vienna; in 1905-1906 with his daughter Zinaida lived in Paris. From December 1920 she lived in Petrograd.
