The son of the collegiate assessor. In 1819, admitted to the Academy of fine arts. Received medals: in 1825. - 2 silver, 1827, in 1828 - 1 silver, in 1829 - 2 silver. In 1830 was "deemed worthy" to receive 2 gold medals for "the project of the Church of the papal houses, and the solemn monument." In the same year, released with a diploma of 1 degree and a sword.
