Biography and information

One of the leading architects of the second half of the XVIII century, the author of the famous fence of the Summer garden.

Born in a village Kurmyshsky or Yadrinskoe district of Nizhny Novgorod province.

"A native of the Chuvash land known architect of Russia, one of the founders of the early Russian classicism in architecture. His name is among celebrities such as A. Rinaldi, A. F. Kokorinov, M. F. Kazakov, J. B. M. Valen–Delamot, Y. M. Felten, I. V. Bazhenov, D. Quarenghi, I. E. Starov" (Trofimov A. A. Kuznetsova, E. F. Architect... H, 2003. P. 5). The author and Builder of many architectural structures of world renown, among them: the Marble Palace, his Official home and the fence of the Summer garden, one of the best examples of metal art, etc. "P. E. Egorov participated in the construction of these architectural structures, distinguished by its grandeur and beauty, as the Winter Palace, the Smolny monastery, the Palace and Park ensemble of Peterhof, the home of Steelman etc." (Trofimov A. Brought up in the family of E. L. Prince Dadiani. After graduating from architecture school was left there to work on teaching positions. At the same time worked in the Office of buildings in St. Petersburg.
