In 1821 he entered the Academy of fine arts. In 1831, he received 2 and 1 silver medals. In 1833 - a certificate of degree 1 for the title of class artist of historical painting. Between 1849 and was the architect of the Department of Principalities. In 1858 he received the title of artist of architecture.
