He studied at the Kharkov School of painting and drawing (1897-98). Published since 1901. Fame and notoriety got prod. "problems of sex" (the novel "Sanin", 1907). The hero of the debates society. courts and lit. parodies 1910's. From 1923 he lived in exile, writer of the Warsaw gas. "For freedom!", in 1924-25 helped D. Filosofova can edit it. Published sat-key production, written in Russia.
