Nikandrovich Nefedov

Born 15 APR 1887 in Ivanovo-Voznesensk. In 1906, after graduating from school he entered the Moscow school of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. His teachers were the best artists of the time: Valentin Serov, A. Arkhipov, N. A. Korovin, N. A. Kasatkin, L. O. Pasternak, A. M. Korin, A. M. Vasnetsov, and others....
Graduated from. AH (1916). Arrested, he spent many years in camp and exile (Arrest 23.09.1936 g. Sentence: 23.09.1936 G.; OSO of the NKVD of the USSR; article CRTD; deadline: 5 l l/St Appr. 17.01.1937 G. (Komik-8 part 1: Vorkuta otd-nie Uhtpechlag). Later he lived in Ivanovo. The whole life of Ivan Nikandrovich closely connected with his native city. He worked as a lecturer at Ivanovo Art College, pedagogical school, Institute of education, and supervised working studios, in clubs, participated in the organization of art exhibitions and design works.The artist studied the nature of different corners of our vast country - Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Yaroslavl regions, the Volga region, the Ryazan region, the Urals, the Crimea and the polar North.
