In 1914-19 chief architect of Moscow. Kremlin hands. the restoration works. His project built low-rise homes, the first co-operative village "Sokol" in Moscow (1923-30). 1930 head. otd. housing str-VA Giprogor. Died in evacuation in Tashkent.
