Doctor of architecture, Nar. architect Of the USSR (1991). Member of the CPSU since 1956. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of architecture (1950), and later taught there, Professor. Author project (et al.) station Mosk. metro station "Krasnopresnenskaya" (1954), the Palace of pioneers in the Lenin hills in Moscow (1958-62), Mosk. Institute of electronic technology (1966-71) and houses "Flute" Zelenograd (1970), the Soviet Embassy in Mauritania (1977) and other buildings. Work on architecture, including the book. "In search of the architectural image" (1979), "the Formula of architecture" (1984). From 1993 he lived and worked in the United States.
