Nar. architect USSR (1970). Member of the CPSU(b) since 1952. Graduated from Kharkiv art. Institute (1930). From 1930 he worked in the design organizations in Kharkiv, 1946 in Kiev. From 1952 Deputy of the head of the architect, 1955-72 chief architect of Kiev. He taught at the Kiev art. the Institute, from 1971 Professor. Author projects (all in Kiev, et al.) planning and development of Kreshatik (1945-64), the building centre. post office (1952-57) and the "Moscow" hotel (1954-61), the metro station "factory "Bolshevik" (1963) and "Nivki" (1972) and other buildings.
