A graduate of the Academy of fine arts 1826 Polupansiona black sea fleet. Received medals: in 1830 – 2 silver; in 1831, 1 silver; in 1832 – 2 gold for the "project of the Seminary"; in 1833 – 1 gold for the "project of a building for the residence of a wealthy landowner in his estate". In 1832 the title of artist XIV class and left at the Academy of fine arts for 1 year to improve. In 1834, "sent to foreign lands for 3 years on the Highest command". In 1840, the title of academician for "the restoration of the forum of Trajan". In 1841 the title of Professor of degree 2 for the "project of the Medico-surgical Academy." In 1841, identified the Chief architect of the Ministry of the Imperial court. On behalf of the Council of the Academy of arts held a professorship Tone for 4 years. Rebuilt and resumed the whole of the Gatchina Palace and built in the same Cathedral.
