Russia • born in 1962

Born in the Crimea. Systematically draws from 11 years. In 1980 he entered the Krasnodar art College, from which he graduated with honors. In 1986 – 1992 he studied at KHI, the faculty of monumental painting. Began exhibiting his work at art exhibitions since 1988. In 1990 – 1994 member of the Kiev art group "Paris commune". In 1991 he created the first work using the geographical map. In 1997 – 1998 he participated in the world exhibition "Cartographers", which was held at the Museum of contemporary art in Zagreb (Croatia). In 1997, awarded the "Zolotoe sechenie" – "artist of the year in the field of contemporary art" International Art festival, which took place in Kiev. Held thirteen solo exhibitions, participated in more than thirty group exhibitions, including "Days of Ukrainian culture in France", "Intervals" in namu (both 2000), the First Ukrainian project at the Venice Biennale (2001), as well as numerous exhibitions and presentations of Ukrainian art, which took place in Russia, Poland, and Hungary. Austria, Germany, Italy, Norway etc. are published in over 20 catalogs and mentioned in numerous publications. Works are in the namu, the state Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the Museum of Duke University in North Carolina (USA), the Museum "Moscow house of photography" in Moscow, the Museum "Artistic center Henie-Ostend Hovikodden" in Oslo (Norway) and numerous private collections. Several works by the artist were bought by the Auction house Philips.
