Since 1859, is an auditor student at the Academy of fine arts. In 1862 he received the certificate of completion with a statement of special diligence; in 1866 – 2 silver medal for the program: "the project of the house for placing in it of a girls 'school for 600 girls coming"; in 1868 – the title of a free artist.
