Student of the Academy of arts since 1868, Received medals: in 1871 – 2 silver; in 1873 – 1 silver; in 1875 2 gold for the "project of the Roman Catholic Church for a cemetery"; in 1877 – 1 gold for the "project of the station in the Park near the capital". In 1876 he received a certificate for the right to produce buildings. 30 Oct 1877 – the title of class artist of 1 degree. Since 1878 he was a pensioner of the Academy of arts for 6 years. In 1880, sent to the pensioner abroad. In 1882, the title of academician.
