B. 02.09.1951, Kutaisi (Georgian SSR). Brother F. V. Strashko. In Sergiev Posad since 1980. He studied at the Rostov art College named. M. B. Grekov (1966-70), MVHPU (b. Stroganov) – 1973-78 V. G. Leon, J. V. Sluchevsky (thesis: a set of upholstered furniture – owner. V. Sluchevsky).

Teacher of Krasnoturyinsk art school (1978-80), AHU (1981-82), artist SHPM (1982-96). Member of the Board of SPO of the artists Union (since 2004).

Performed icon (wood, gesso, tempera) for the iconostasis of the Church of Peter and Paul (1994-95, D. Prokhorovka, the Belgorod region), in the baptismal chapel of the Church (1997, Gubkin, Belgorod obl.), Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral (1999-2002, Tolyatti).

Participant of exhibitions (since 1978), including: Republican art exhibition of teachers of art colleges (Moscow, 1978), "Russian landscape and modern Orthodox icon" (Toledo, Spain, 1995), 1st all-Russian exhibition of temple art "Transformation" (Yaroslavl, 2002).
