Biography and information
Born in the city of Panevezys, Lithuanian SSR in 1965.
In 1990. graduated from art school № 75 of Moscow. His teachers were outstanding masters of their craft, such as Leonid Filimonov D., Postoenko Viktor.
In 2002. admitted to the Moscow Association of artists International art Fund.
His works belong to one of the most interesting and understudied areas of Russian applied art of the 18th century - planar mosaic art of "marquetry" is in the selection of the figure or pattern of pieces of precious wood. The image items in the tree is executed with such skill that the differences between composing paintings and painting almost non-existent.
R., marcinkevičius no participated in many exhibitions in our country. His works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
