Student of the Academy of arts. In 1838 – 2 silver medal. In 1839 – the title of the artist XIV class; in 1842 – the title of "appointed"; in 1848, the title of academician for the program: "Project military almshouses of 400 enlisted men and 25 officers." In 1863 the honorary free member of the Academy of arts. Was when Professor K. A. Tone in the construction of the Church of St. Paul on Aptekarsky island, Izmailovo almshouses in St. Petersburg and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
