"Fortress". Pupil of Academy of fine arts from 1811 till 1817, when he was dismissed at the request of its owner, count Arakcheev. Received medals: in 1816 – 2 silver; in 1817 – 1 silver. In 1843, the title of artist XIV class; in 1844, the title of academician for the "project home of the police Department"; in 1859 – the title of Professor in "project cavalry barracks for 600 people".
