Student of the Academy of arts since 1832 Pensioner of the Corporation of Railways. In 1838 – 2 silver medal for "the future of the Church Academy of arts, drawn from life in watercolor", and 2 silver medal for architectural program. In 1839 he received the certificate for the title of artist XIV class and was awarded the sword.
