A graduate of the Academy of arts from 1803 To 1809 – 2 silver medals; in 1810 – the diploma of 1 degree and transferred to the architect Stasov in the Cabinet of His Imperial Majesty. Been abroad as a pensioner of His Imperial Majesty. When he was in Paris, where he worked in a lithographic establishment of Engelman and filed a petition for the opening of the same in SPb. In 1820, elected to the "assigned to" "project alleged in a. Ryabov of the pavilion and the gate in the mountain"; in 1830, the title of academician; in 1831, defined the Academy of fine arts performed the duties of Professor of architecture 2 degree; in 1843, promoted to Professor 1st degree; in 1847-48 he did the dome of the Church of the Academy of arts in 1853 and the title of honored Professor. In addition to the architecture known as a draughtsman and lithographer.
