Biography and information

The son of a Sergeant of Cossack troops. A graduate of the Academy of fine arts 1829 (pensioner of the black sea Cossack troops). Received medals: in 1830 – 2 silver; in 1832 – 1 silver; in 1833, – 2 silver and 2 gold (at the expense of the society for the Encouragement of arts) for the program: "the project of the house of the Governor-General"; in 1834, 1 silver and 1 gold for "design of a country house of the Prince". In 1835, the title of academician for the "project of the chieftain of the castle". In 1842 – Professor of architecture for the "project of the Imperial Palace."
