Student of the Academy of arts from 1875 To 1878 he graduated from the course Sciences. Received medals: in 1879 – 2 silver; in 1880, 1 silver and 2 gold for the program: "the Project of the City Duma". In 1881 – the title of class artist of 1 degree for the "project of the District court in the capital"; in 1886, the title of academician for the program: "School swimming and baths with a bath on the river, in the southern part of Russia".
