Engraver dotted line and black style. In 1785 he was summoned to St. Petersburg and made by the engraver of the Cabinet of Its Imperial Majesty. In 1786 the Academy of arts awarded to "assigned" for the engraving: "SV. Simeon with the infant Christ"; in 1794, the title of academician; in the same year adviser of Academy of arts. In 1793, taught 4 academic students in engraving.
