Student of the Academy of arts. In 1863 the title of class artist of portrait painting. In 1866 engaged in the execution of mosaic works. In 1868 – the title of class artist of 3 degrees for mosaics; in 1869 – the title of class artist of 2 degrees; in 1873 the title of class artist of 1 degree; in 1877 the title of academician, mosaic art for the performance in the way to St. Isaac's Cathedral "Bashing heads" and the back of the warrior.
