Andris Bot (niderl. Andries Both, 1612/1613, Utrecht - March 23, 1642, Venice) Dutch genre painter bamboccianti, a disciple of Abraham Blumart. From 1635 to 1641 he lived in Rome, where he joined the group of Peter van Laer. The work of Andries Botha are small pictures with funny scenes from the life of ordinary people and different humorous, sometimes outrageous content.
