Henry Mary Davringhausen (it. Heinrich Maria Davringhausen; 21 Oct 1894, Aachen — 13 December 1970, nice) was a German painter, representative of the directions of the New objectivity and Magic realism.
1913-1914 — studying at the düsseldorf Academy of art, simultaneously taking private lessons with William Eckstein
1914 — personal exhibition at the Dusseldorf art gallery Alfred Flehthayma
1914 — trip to Ascona
1915-1918 — the artist lives and works in Berlin
1918 — transfer to Munich; participates in the exhibition "New religious art" at the Art Museum in Mannheim
1919 — personal exhibition in the gallery of the New Art in Munich; participates in the first exhibition of the artistic group of the Young Rhineland at the Art Museum of Dusseldorf
1922 — returned to Berlin
1923 — personal exhibition in the gallery of Alfred Flexhaler
1924-1925 — travel to Spain
1925 — participates in the exhibition "New objectivity" in Art Museum of Mannheim
1927 — transfer to Cologne, friendship with the painter Anton Recercada
1928 — the participant of exhibitions "Space and wall painting", organized by the art Association of Cologne and düsseldorf group "New art"
1933 with his Jewish wife emigrated from Germany, first to Mallorca, then to Switzerland and France
1939-1940 — with the beginning of world war II interned in a camp near Cagnes-sur-Mer and the new flight
1945 — return to Cagnes-sur-Mer.
