Girolamo Induno (ital. Gerolamo Induno, 13 Dec 1827, Milan — December 18, 1890, Milan) was an Italian painter.

Began to seriously pursue art after 1848 and first appeared with their works before the public in Paris in 1855. Then it was a small picture depicting Garibaldi. Their advantages immediately drew the artist's attention.

The subsequent paintings of Induno, in which he also played mostly soldier types and military life, even more raised his reputation as observant and skillful composer, endowed with warmth and feeling excellent owns all the means of painting. Main among these paintings — "Letter from camp", "the Story of Garibaldi", the "Garibaldi guard", "Megetskaya battle", "the Gallant friend of the family", "Italy 1866", "Immigrants", "the Parting called to the serving of military service with his mistress," "Lover of antiquities", "Zavarka" and some others.
