The introduction of the Slavic Liturgy. From the series "the Slav epic"

Slav epic — a series of 20 canvases of the Czech artist Alphonse Mucha, written in the early XX century and imbued with the spirit of Slavic unity. Each canvas reflects significant in the author's view of events in the life of the Slavic people. The value of the paintings was significant: 6 to 8 meters. Funded this ambitious project, the American millionaire Charles crane. When in 1928 the work was completed, all the paintings were transferred to Prague.
