Podolchak, Igor (Ukr. Igor, Podolchak, eng. Ihor (Igor) Podolchak, Pol. Igor Podolczak) (born 1962) is a Ukrainian film Director, screenwriter, producer, painter, graphic artist, photographer, curator of contemporary art. Co-founder of the creative Association "Masoch Fund" (together with Roman Viktyuk and Igor Durocem). Russian criticism include the work of Podolchak to the "South Russian wave". Lives and works in Kiev and Lviv. Not belong to any of the creative unions of Ukraine.
Born on 9 APR 1962 in Lviv, Ukraine. Father - Podolchak Vladimir Mikhailovich (1933-1992, rod. C. Climbing, Lviv oblast), a historian, mother, Podolchak Olga (1937-2001,. b. C. Mutin, Sumska oblast), journalist. Brother Podolchak Oleg Vladimirovich, physician education. He is married, has two daughters - Podolak Olga (1984), Nevzorov Elena (1975), and two granddaughters.
In 1979 he graduated from the Lviv secondary school №9. In the same year he entered the faculty "Interior and equipment" gosudarstvennogo Lviv Institute of applied and decorative art (now Lviv national Academy of art), graduating in 1984 with honors. Together with Podoliaka studied Oleg Tistol, Pavel Kerestey and Mykola Matsenko. From 1984 to 1985 Rhod he served in the frontier troops.
