Andrea del Pozzo (ital. Andrea Pozzo, 30 November 1642, Trento — 31 August 1709, Vienna) was an Italian painter and architect. Representative of the Baroque. Virtuoso master illusionist paintings (frescoes in the Church of Sant'ignazio in Rome, 1685-99.). The author of a treatise on the theory of perspective.

Born in Trento (at that time the city belonged to Austria), he studied at the local Jesuit school. The father, noticing the tendency of the son to the fine arts, sent him to study to be an artist. The style is young Pozzo has developed, probably under the influence of the works of Giacomo Palma.

25 Dec 1665 Andrea del Pozzo joined the Jesuit order.
