Emile barthélémy Fabry (FR. Émile Fabry, rod. 31 Dec 1865, Verviers — mind. 1966 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre) — Belgian artist-symbolist.
Initially, E. Fabri was a pupil in the Studio of the painter J.-F. Portel. Was under the creative influence of paintings by Michelangelo, Ingres, Puvis de Chavannes.
E. Fabri is known primarily as the author of the allegorical paintings, sometimes frightening content. In 1892 he creates together with artists Jean Delville and Xavier Mellery group "Circle of pure art". In 1893 and in 1895 Fabri's work has been exhibited at the Paris "salon of the rose+Cross". In 1900 he teaches at the Brussels Art Academy. Executed many orders for fresco painting at the state, public and private buildings (among other things — at the Theatre La Monnaie, the town hall of Saint-Gilles, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Laeken, etc.).
