Saakovich Abrahamyan

Artashes Abrahamyan Sahak was born 1921 in the city of Alexandrapole,now Gumri, Armenia .
Initial special education received in Leninakan art Studio im. S. D. Merkurov.
In 1938, arrives at the Yerevan art College named. F. Terlemezyan, which graduated in 1941..
In 1941 45gg. involved in the great Patriotic war .Awarded the order "red Star" and "Glory 3rd degree" and other medalyami.
In 1945 he entered the painting Department of Yerevan art Institute,which he graduated from in 1952.
With 1952. participates in Republican and later in all-Union and foreign exhibitions.
With 1956. member of artists of the USSR.
In 1955. A. Abrahamyan creates one of his finest landscape paintings "Morning Voskevaz", .(Of nga)
In 1960. A. Abrahamyan sozdaet the famous painting "the Ararat of the Byurakan"(of nga)
From 1960-1965. A. Abrahamyan works in the city of Hrazdan, "the Best works of Hrazdan series of A. Abrahamyan became a major achievement of Armenian art of the 1960-ies"-says the Honored worker of the Armenian SSR, Minister of Culture of the Armenian SSR Ruben Parsamyan.
In 1963. work one on display at the exhibition "Four artists".
In 1967 . CX USSR A. Abrahamyan is awarded the Diploma "For excellent work"
In 1970 A. Abrahamyan is awarded the jubilee medal "For valiant labor . in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of V. I. Lenin"
In 1973. organized exhibition of proizvedenii A. Abrahamyan in the vystovyčnom halls of the House of artist of Armenia.
In 1974. the exhibition continues in Leninakan( now Gyumri) in art sdudio named after S. D. Merkurov .
In 1980. for merits and development of Armenian Soviet soobrazitelnost art painter A. Pochetnoe Abrahamyan was awarded the title of Honored artist of the Armenian SSR.
In 1985. awarded the Order of Lenin, the Union of artists of the USSR "40 years of victory 1945-85gg.".
In 1998..Abrahamyan takes 3rd place at the exhibition of the 50th anniversary of the United Nations .
In 2000-2003. A. Abrahamyan creates his latest painting.
Honored artist of the Armenian SSR Artashes Abrahamyan Sahak died in 2003 at the age of 82 years, in Yerevan.


One of his best paintings "Morning in Voskevaz "1955. written energetic,wide handwriting of the painter ,transmitting the restrained emotion of his love and admiration for mother nature, defined its place among the Armenian landscape.
