He was born in the Vladimir region. Graduated Zagorskoe art-industrial school and Moscow art and industrial school (Stroganov).
With 1959 . lives and works in Zagorsk–Sergiev Posad.
B. Krylov – wonderful wizard rare nowadays graphic techniques – monotypes, a master of painting. The subjects of his works are varied: tales and epics about the exploits of Russian heroes, folk legends and events of Russian history, his own fantasy stories.
In Sergiev Posad in 1948-51, 1959. Lived in Krasnozavodsk (Moscow region).
He studied at the Art vocational school N59 (1948-51, Zagorsk, Moscow region) V. I. Baldin, S. Mitin, M. I. Kalinycheva; MVHPU (former. Stroganov) – 1951-59 S. V. Gerasimov. During study was engaged in student Scientific society, with whom he worked in many cities of the USSR: Kiev, Pskov, Novgorod, Ferapontovo, Staraya Ladoga, Tallinn, Vilnius.
Artist SHPM (1957-96). Member of the artists Union (1962).
Created murals children's home of the Moscow Department for social security (1969-74, Sergiev Posad). Performed works (monotypes): "Fairytale" (1965), "the bathing of the centaur" (1966), "Castle on the island", "Zagorsk", "epic" (1967), "Russian fairy tale" (1976), "folk song", "Dance", "Deer" (1970), "Hercules" (1977), "Russian motif" (1981), the series "Russian Heroes" (1967-80), "Songs of the civil war" (1977-79), "Fascism" (1972); the illustrations for "Word about Igor's regiment" (b. watercolor, white, 2000-03). Also created paintings: "Russian fairy tale" (1975), "Fishermen", "Rural motive", "the Kingdom of sleep" (1977), "Fisherman's village" (1978), "Winter chimes" (1980), "Old Ladoga", "the Song about Stepan Razin", "the Hunt for blue horse", "the Bells of Rostov" (1981), "Rural poetry", "Zhili-byli", "Russian tale", "Fishing village", "Vintage motif", "Realm of sleep", "the Legend of Old Ladoga" (all 1988), a triptych of "tales of olden times" (2002), Nightingale night", "On the edge" (both 2004).
The author of several studies of "the Word about Igor's regiment".
