Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. People's artist of the RSFSR (1983). From 1933 he lived with his family in V. Volochok, Ms. he studied at school No. 6 (1933 -38), studied drawing at the House of pioneers. hood. G. A. Korosteleva. Participated in all-Union competitions of children's drawings. He graduated from the Ms. of arts. school at vseros. AH (1942) and the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin (1949, workshop really. member. AH B. V. iogansona). Lived and worked in Leningrad. P. - master of the industrial landscape, although he wrote and genre scenes, portraits, lyric. scenery: "Summer" (1949, RM), "Last ray" (1971, TOKG). P. often came in V. Volochok and at the Academic dacha (see T. 1), where he created paintings : "Old Vyshniy volochëk" and "New Vyshniy volochëk" (both 1954), "therefore banka black Lake" (1953, all in V. -Volotsky kraeved. Museum), "Spring is coming" (1952, USA, private collection), "Silence" (1970).
