Creativity:

Unique artistic world N. I. Tretyakov did not come immediately. The very birth of the Altai Republic had its own value. While training in Alma-ATA theatrical art school teacher Abram Markovich Cherkassky was able to show a talented young artist a different way than the average level of schoolboy studies he taught him to write "not right." The most important stage in becoming an artist was working in Ethnographic expeditions and at the Studio. Where Tretyakov was able to understand the value of national traditions, capabilities decorative, strength and power of ancient art. From each expedition Tretyakov brought several hundred papers. The late 50s is a period of success. He moved in 1960 in Omsk, N. I. Tretyakov gets in, starts to develop a special creative atmosphere. Changes in the development of Soviet art in the late 1950's-early 1960-ies, radically affected the artistic life of Omsk. Tretyakov finds its place among the talented young artists N.M. Bryukhanov, V. V. KUKULCAN, E. A. Kupriyanov, R. F. Cherepanov, G. A. Shtanov, S. K. Belov, A. A. Chermoshentsev, M. I., Slobodin, demonstrating the diversity of individuals, a wide amplitude of searches for new expressive means of art. Creativity for Tretyakov was not just a profession, and not expression, but the meaning of life. Master grew up in the Creator. Tretyakov himself said of himself that he became a researcher. The graphic language of Tretyakov is influenced by his fascination with the monumental and the decorative arts, he was the first among the Omsk artists began to explore the specificity of monumental art, was one of the first Soviet Union of artists, who refused the asceticism of the language of monumental forms, began to complicate, diversify, deepen. To the its heyday he was as a painter a universalist in his Arsenal: painting, different graphic techniques, sculpture, monumental technology. After the N attempts.With. Regulatory Khrushchev to revive the art of socialist realism in meetings with the creative intelligentsia in Moscow, began a period of conflict with officialdom, when the artist has gained momentum, found their own language. In the Tretyakov labeled "formalist" and even "German expressionist". There were difficulties with the orders, the artist does not adjust to the taste of the customer. The impetus for a new stage began the trip home in 1964. Appeared significant long series of works "Memory of childhood". In this series of improvisations compositional space is mounted, the proportions of things are defined not by reality, but by the significance in the system memories, the system of children's consciousness, easily used "primitive" expressive language. In the mid 1960-ies issued the largest series of works by N. I. Tretyakov "Altai motives." In these works, the artist creates his ideal world, associated and not associated with antiquity and modernity. With these works Tretyakov begins a significant trend in art of Omsk and Siberia – archeoart. From the mid to late 1960s, performed "Northern series", where the artist demonstrates possession of the "Severe style", these works are distinguished by the monumentality of sound, citizenship, expressive chopped rhythms, solid color. Quite different appears the artist in the works of 1970 – beginning of 1980-ies. Creativity N.I Tretyakova cannot be considered as a kind of evolutionary line from smaller values to larger. Remaining himself, he is different: close to the severe style in the "Northern series", ironic and emotional "Memories of childhood", the mythological and epic in the "Altai motives", in decorative landscapes, psychological portraits.

[edit]artistic credo.

"Beauty in art is something lopsided, krivoglaz, asymmetric, because symmetry is nothing to resent, nothing is calling, she's dead in your terms."

"Something to overcome, it is necessary to achieve this".

"The result of the propaganda of monumental art must not be a result of art, and the difficult process of getting it. It gives interest to the audience and enlightens it, it creates like-mindedness of the artist and the viewer."

"Naturalism is like a serpent that coils around your neck. You cease to think, create, passing in the defense. It keeps the artist in check, providing some kind of tube or well. Thinking is so narrowed that the exhibitions has become difficult otlichit one painter from another. They are the same, stamped with one cliché, with the only difference how was the pressure."
