Biography and information

(1924, Nizhny Novgorod region – 1998, St. Petersburg)

In 1937 he enrolled in the Gorky art College. During the war he worked as an artist in the army press, designed the festival.

In 1947 Poles were adopted at the sculpture faculty of the Institute named after I. E. Repin Academy of arts of the USSR in Leningrad. In 1953 he was taken in the creative workshop of the Academy of arts, led by Vladimir Liselim.Poles party in Leningrad and national exhibitions, including the jubilee exhibition, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Academy of arts in Leningrad (1958), the exhibition "Soviet Russia" (1960).

Style Polyakov-sculpture of plastic expressiveness and delicate balance of the volumes. For his sculptures is also characteristic and creative implementation of techniques of the sculptors of the late Renaissance, especially those of mannerism and Baroque.
