Description of the artwork «Lisa Ray - Lady's Way»
More than all the traveling in the world, I love the road home.....
I love the drive home.
Coming home from work hungry,
Tired and angry
I'm wandering down an alley,
In delirium, in silence.
It's just me and the road--
Alone.
The center lives
By the light of headlights and shop windows,
The sound of bars at night
And car traffic.
I'm on the outskirts,
And our bedroom community
He's meeting me
By the constellation ocone.
Warmth
The glow of the lantern lights,
Covered with a yellow wing,
He'll take you to the door.
The wind nearby flying,
There's dust along the road.
Pushing me in the back
He's rushing home.
He'll circle to the doorstep
He'll be gone without a word,
Spreading out on the road
The echo of late footsteps.
