Marianna
Maslova

Kiev
born in 1985 •

artist, collector
Maslova Marianna was born in Kazakhstan, in the small town of Zhairem, which means "oasis".
The first impressions of the Kazakh steppe, original folk colors, patterns subsequently significantly influenced the coloring of her works. So, in the paintings “Penguin” and “Paris. Eclecticism”, ornaments of Central Asia are clearly traced, and the variety of colors resembles the steppe in spring. The work "Long Expectations" is also written under the impression of the East, in this case, the music of the Sufis.
In the mid-nineties, she first came to Ukraine. If Kazakhstan is full of contrasts and clear contours, then the nature of Ukraine is woven from nuances and lace lines. This is clearly seen in the graphic series "Trees" and "Grass", as well as in the landscapes from the series "Moment of Presence".
Life is an eternal journey where inspiration always meets its author. And the Artist is in constant search of new discoveries. That is why Maslova Marianna is trying all new techniques, genres and styles. After all, movement is the law of life.
Pictures are in private collections in the USA, France, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan
