Armenia belongs to the oldest, meanwhile small nation.
Maybe this forces us to collect the crumbs, combine all of our dignity and often immodest to stick out them. That is probably part of all minorities. Scattered across the globe, our compatriots are not only introduced to a different culture, but made a significant contribution to it.
It is difficult today to imagine the art of Russia without Aivazovsky, Vakhtangov, Simonov, Aram Khachaturian... USA-no Rouben Mamoulian, Arshile Gorky, William Saroyan...
France without Henri troyat, Henri Verneuil, Charles Aznavour... of Georgia and Ukraine without Sergei Parajanov... Italy-without Gregorio Sistiana...
This range can with advantage be supplemented with filmmaker Armen Rokovym.
Creative efforts of the Director and artist Armen Ronov led him to art. Studying in Florence from a private painter art of drawing and illustration, design and construction of artistic images, A. Ronov deeply comprehend the expressive means of graphs, contour lines, strokes, color spots, which forms the image contrast or noincome ratio.
The possibility of a concise, sharply pointed expression and the ability to respond quickly to the synthesis of painting with cinema became the key to unlocking the image in the works of A. Ronova. A term applied Lionello Venturi – "absolute artistic value", the brightness of characteristics with an apology for the "absolute freedom of expression" of the artist will never lose its meaning and significance. This is not surprising. In thinking about cinema, art, history and modern times appear more and more "lyrical hero", - the creative "I" of cinema Armen Ronov, actively claiming their positions.

Longing for Armenia - a number of canes from the branches of the cherry similar to a duck's beak. I was immediately fascinated by the irrepressible effort of the Director and artist Armen Ronov bestow upon me the most touching motive of the people that he knew. The motive of love of the Motherland, which made tremble in the "quest for the promised land, Armenia" and suffer the air.
"The Armenian warrior of the light" turned into a prayer, almost sobbing, that these characters have settled in my memory, where they were collected the vines in the garden of my childhood.

Representatives of postmodernism in the cinema are Directors P. Greenaway in England, J. J. Banks in France, A. Ronov in Armenia.
Armen Ronov is known primarily for the films "Poprishin", "Anna Karenina" and "Winter Apple", etc., which brought him the desired pleasure and entertainment. The Italian theorist Umberto Eco, one of the major figures of postmodernism, formulates it this way: "Every text is written on the text."
