Description of the artwork «The CHURCH of St. George»

"The Church in the Jura" had learned his noble silhouette from the real prototype located in the city of Drohobych (Ukraine). In this work, the sticks (broom handles) in volume, and decorative value successfully competes with the matches. Every adresochek mimics wooden shingles, which were going to the roof in the old days.
At first, layer by layer, matches were recruited the main frame structure. Blank, there was only the shape of the window openings. After drying, the frame was carefully leveled with a file and needle files.
Were created in parallel to the roof. The stalks of the broom were cut lengthwise into equal thin strips (about 5mm wide). Further, these strips were cut on otrezochki the desired length (about 1 cm) and alternately glued to the cardboard roof.
The main difficulty arose when creating the domes. Their base consists of paper frame. Straw tile, ngleina the shape of the cupolas, made up of TKH silhouette and texture.
When you update the working match, the crosses were replaced with glued rhinestones from Swarovski, and in the design of the facade appeared chains and garlands of beads èç "the eye of the tiger". In the decoration of domes came with a chain of crystal rhinestones and adhesive stones. The brilliance of stones and metal concealed imperfect texture thatched domes.
