Description of the artwork «GEORGIAN CATHEDRAL»

"Georgian Cathedral" – the most "ancient" of this collection. Its prototype was the picture in the textbook the famous monument of architecture (it has been viewed only two parties, the rest had to be thinking independently).
At that stage of the creative activities of the young master used colored matchsticks. Their colors simulate real-life colors of monuments. But since the paint killed that unique feeling, which gives the work natural match color and texture, this technique subsequently no longer used.
Initially, the temple was built and decorated on the outside with only one only matches. Straws, beads, crystals and semi-precious stones appeared in his finishing much later.
The Cathedral is decorated on the inside. Each of its walls were collected separately, all relief items were flagged at the same time, both inside and outside. In addition to chains and brands internal niches decorated with miniature engraving (with a needle through the candy foil and secured PVA). On a real device, the temples, the author had no idea and first came to the current Church ten years after completion of work (this all happened in the USSR and at the start of the work, the author was barely 13 years old).
Inside the work there is light. Square battery with a switch located in the base-the Foundation of the temple. The original light source were simple light bulb flashlight. After the update it added the LEDs.
This work is part of the collection of the exhibition the Miracle match (Boors of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the world).
