Giladi

1907−1993
In my collection is a picture of a classic Israeli painting Aaron Giladi (Aharon Giladi). Golodets Aaron Haimovich was born in 1907 in the city of Gomel, Mogilev province (Belarus).
From a young age participated in the activities of Zionist organizations in 1920-1922. — "Maccabi", 1922 — "ha-Shomer Ha-tsair" and "he-Halutz". Repeatedly arrested by the Bolshevik authorities: in 1925, three times in 1926, arrested in Kharkov, where he was transferred to the Leningrad house escape...Lenogo conclusion, then, in the Taganka prison in Moscow. Exiled for 3 years in Semipalatinsk, in 1927, for complicity in the escape of a transferred to Shymkent.
In 1923-1926 he studied at the Academy of arts in Petrograd. He was a member of OMAKHR ("the Union of youth Association of artists of revolutionary Russia").
In 1928 from Odessa went to Palestine. Settling in kibbutz Afikim, worked as a plasterer, builders, painter, vykraivaya time for painting.
In 1948 he moved to Kfar Saba, and in 1955 — in Holon.
He was a member of the creative Association "Ofakim hadashim" (New horizons).
Award winner Dyzenhofa in the field of painting and sculpture (1948, 1954). Participated in the Biennale in Venice (1946) and became a laureate of the VSAN-Paulo (1957).
Participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world.
He died in 1993.
