Description of the artwork «The temptation of St. Anthony»

In the lower left corner of the Central panel of the triptych "The temptation of St. Anthony" is the name of the author - Hieronymus Bosch. However, modern art is of the opinion that it is a copy of the famous work of Hieronymus Bosch (original it is possible to see in Lisbon).

Dozens of copies of this triptych and its fragments - Brussels version is one of the most accurate and masterly. It was written shortly after the death of Bosch - 1520 e - 1530-ies. Perhaps comes from his workshop.

External doors in Brussels "the Temptation of St. Anthony" look so (compare with the external doors of the original).
