Magidson adriana F. S. (1 may 1906 – 1981)

Soviet theatrical artist and painter. Worked in the field of poster, participated in the design of mass celebrations, demonstrations. Member of the Association of artists of revolutionary Russia (AHRR). Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Member of the governing Board of the library MOSH.

Studied in VKhUTEMAS-VHUTEINe (1925-1930) on the beautiful and the creative faculties of p. P. Konchalovsky, I. M. Rabinovich, F. F. Kondrat'eva, V. D. and V. bushnev, sakhnovskaya. He practices in the scenic workshops of the Bolshoi theater.

He worked in the theater of Vsevolod Meyerhold. In 1929, together with I. M. Rabinovich designed the Gorky Park. Gorky (stands, amusement rides). Designed the factory "AMO" in Moscow (1932), pavilion "veterinary medicine" agricultural exhibition of the USSR.

Significant influence on the work of magidson had the experience of traveling along the route of the Baikal-Buryatia-Mongolia-Vladivostok and experience Buddhist, Lamaist, and Chinese cultures.

The author of the books "the Design of mass celebrations", "the Design of the city in the days of revolutionary festivals" (early 1930s). In collaboration with Y. Schukin A. Kuznetsova wrote the book "Making the holidays and everyday life" (Moscow, 1934).

Participant in exhibitions since 1930. Personal exhibition in Moscow (1983). The exhibition "Art into the masses" (1929), "anti-Imperialist exhibition" (1931), Exhibition of young artists (1934), all-Union art exhibition (1950), all-Union art exhibition (1951).

A. C. magidson are in the State Tretyakov gallery, the State Central theater Museum im. A. A. Bakhrushin, Kaluga art Museum, in art museums of Saratov and Kirov, as well as in private collections in Russia.
