Upper Rhineland Master

Upper Rhineland Master is the unknown German painter of the late Gothic period. He was active in Strasbourg circa 1410-1420. His most famous painting, "A small garden of Eden" (Paradiesgärtlein), is executed in mixed techniques on oak panel (Frankfurt am main, Städel Institute of art).
