Victorine Meurent; 18 Feb 1844, Paris — March 17, 1927, in Colombes) was a French artist and musician. She was the favorite model of Edouard Manet (she posed for his Olympia, Luncheon on the Grass, Railway and many others paintings). Most of the paintings and drawings of Victorine Meurent are now considered lost, but in 2004 one of her paintings was discovered, it is now kept in the historical Museum of Colombes.
