Irina Vitalievna, Karkabi (Irina Vitalievna Karkabi) - modern Ukrainian artist, was born in 1960 in Kharkov, Ukraine, in a family of scientists. Her artistic talent around noticed in early childhood. In 1982, almost immediately after graduating from the Academy of arts in St. Petersburg, she, along with her husband and newborn son moved to the city of Haifa in Northern Israel, where he settled on the coast.

There, at the Mediterranean crossroads of cultural ideas and artistic movements, Irina founded her own Studio. She writes exclusively in oil on canvas. The artist has participated in many international exhibitions, for example at Art Expo in new York and Los Angeles. Her work is in private collections in Israel, USA and Europe. At an early stage of their career, Irina wrote the posters for the theater and many times illustrated children's books.

Today she mostly writes portraits, landscapes and figurative paintings. Paintings by Irina explore the mysteries of love and female beauty. Dynamism, sensuality, expression, femininity, dreaminess, romanticism, charm - all this is reflected in the paintings of the artist. Based on the knowledge obtained at the Academy in St. Petersburg and our own research of creativity of masters of Greece, Egypt and works in the art Nouveau style (Art Nouveau), she skillfully blends classical beauty with modern symbolism. Its eternal, most often female, the images resonating with sensuality, exploring the depths of the human psyche.
