Art group "EXTRA"

The art group “CRVe” was formed in the summer of 2011 in Krasnoyarsk by the brothers Ruslan and Roman Chernakov. The name of the group comes from the first letters of the name and surname of its members (although there is a version that the name is borrowed from the first joint picture). Artists rarely work in traditional technology, they prefer to create heavy installations and experiment with video art. Most art objects are accompanied by artistic text; as a rule, the dialogue, the viewer becomes the passive participant of which. Each piece of tandem is a kind of social research, expressed in a metaphorical form. Habitual subjects, losing or distorting their original functions, offer to see the ambiguity of the problems of society.
