Born may 10, 1962 in the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. In 1982 he graduated from the Republican Art College im. After P. P. Benkov. 1982-1986 Helicopter school in Samarkand, service in the armed forces, Afghanistan. Sergey Opuls (Pavlov) lives and works in St. Petersburg since 1987.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1998 participated in more than 80 group and solo exhibitions in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad region, Moscow, Hamburg, Paris, Sarajevo, winner of art competitions in Russia and abroad, member auction sales in Europe and the United States.

• Abakumovskaya plein air-2014 (Kolomna, Russia),
• Norwegian Imperium-2014 (Spydeberg, Norway),

Sergey Opuls is the artistic Director of the "Kurgalsky plein air", plein air marine Sea Fever (2012-2014), "Demidov plein air" (2015) and other art projects under the brand "Silver ring of Russia" (2016), "Imperium, plein air big 2017" (2017).
Since 2009, through his works Sergey Opuls performs of art-sponsorship of city events, corporate events and charity auctions.
Awards:
2000 – B. A. degree in modern art, "Association of art of the peoples of the world" (Moscow).
2009 – the Diploma of 1 degree from the "Art Week" (5-th Russian art week, Moscow, Russia) for winning the competition landscape among professionals, nomination "Realistic painting";
2009 – Medal "Talent and Calling" of the Alliance "Peacemaker" (Moscow) for the promotion of peace.
2014 – Diploma of the VI International literary festival "Russian myths" to them. Yuri Druzhnikov (Tivat, Montenegro) for artistic achievement in the development of the best traditions of national culture.
Paintings by Sergei Opulsa are in private collections of Russia and CIS countries, Uzbekistan, Europe and the USA, and also in state museums of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus: the Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic (St. PETERSBURG), Museum of the history of submarine forces of Russia (St. PETERSBURG), Military medical Museum (Saint PETERSBURG), Cultural center "House Ozerov" (Kolomna), a Memorial and artistic Museum of I. E. Repin (Chuguev, Ukraine), the State Museum "Pruzhany palatsyk" (Pruzhany, Belarus), the international Museum of the "Bell of peace" ( the city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina).
