Robert Chaillou (Robert Chailloux, 1913-2006) was a French painter. Fame and recognition as a master of still life.
Born in 1913, in the opinion of many, is one of the best artists of the twentieth century.
He always manages to portray the composition, which has a delightfully homey atmosphere. His sense of color and excellent technique can not be questioned, it is not surprising that his reputation is so high.
His skill in drawing was evident at school and he always had a desire to become a professional artist.
Robert Chailloux studied at the School of design, the Boulevard de Belleville, Paris. For the first time his work was exhibited in 1940 at the Salon of French artists and Salon of fine arts in 1943. After studying at the School of design, he founded his own Studio. Shortly thereafter, in 1989, his paintings attracted the attention of critics. Won many prestigious prizes and awards, including a gold medal at the Salon of French artists.
His paintings are in the permanent exhibition of the Museum of the Ville de Paris.
In 1975 his works were presented at exhibitions in Russia: the Hermitage (Saint Petersburg) and the Museum.Pushkin (Moscow).
